Vivah Sanskar (विवाह संस्कार)

विवास का अर्थ है पुरुष द्वारा स्त्री को विशेष रूप से अपने घर ले जाना। सनातन धर्म में विवाह को समझौता नहीं संस्कार कहा गया है। यह धर्म का साधन है। दोनों साथ रहकर धर्म के पालन के संकल्प के साथ विवाह करते हैं। विवाह के द्वारा सृष्टि के विकास में योगदान दिया जाता है। इसी से व्यक्ति पितृऋण से मुक्त होता है। 
ये संस्कार बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण  संस्कार  है, ये  भी  यज्ञ  करते  हुए  और  वेदों पर आधारित मन्त्रों को पढ़ते हुए किया जाता है, वेद-मन्त्रों में पति और पत्नी के लिए कर्तव्य दिए गए हैं और इन को ध्यान में रखते हुए अग्नि के 7 फेरे लिए जाते हैं l
 
जैसे हमारे माता पिता ने हमको जन्म दिया वैसे ही हमारा कर्तव्य है की हम कुल परम्परा को आगे बाधाएं, अपने बच्चों को सनातन संस्कार दें और धर्म की सेवा करें l
विवाह संस्कार बहुत आवश्यक है ... हमारे समस्त ऋषियों की पत्नी हुआ करती थीं, ये महान स्त्रियाँ आध्यात्मिकता में ऋषियों के बराबर थीं l

Vivas means that men take the woman specially to her house. In Sanatan religion, marriage is said to have no compromise. This is the instrument of religion. Together, they marry with the determination to follow the religion. Marriage is contributed to the development of creation. From this, the person is free from the debt of the debt.
